And i also look at some of the ways we can explore this tools into forms by drawing with ink or chalk, wire, cardboard and clay by looking at some of the artist in textbooks and then some of the website.

Ceramice Elective 24/01/2011

Our first week of the Ceramic was an introduction to processing clay into developing forms. We try using the ink and brush to draw out form and marks, we would want our ceramic piece to look . we were also introduction to the processing of making Raku ceramic. The different types of clay was introduce and process of using the clay.

During this period, we learn how to throw the wheel, putting slip, glancing, biscuit firing and Raku firing. Though there were lots of processing from one stage to another, it was worth it and i enjoy it. Everybody did a different piece and they all turn-out beautifully well.

I added some of the photographs i took during this  two week elective.
